Watching Bellagio

From the Sanctuary of San Martino of Griante there is an unique view of one of the most famous lakes in the world: Lake Como. I tried to find the perfect composition in order to balance the various points of interest in the scene and the emptiness of the lake.
In post-production I tried to highlight the three subjects of the picture: the bell tower of the shrine of St. Martino, the village of Bellagio (which is located on the central branch of Lake Como) and the village of Lierna (the group of lights in the upper right).
This is the last picture I took with my 400D. After this shot the shutter broke.
